Team, SEPTEMBER 24th Crit under the lights: We are lucky enough to have a couple of volunteers with the registration and one day license sales for the races. John Bratton and an ex-Baylor Bear bicycle racer, Rick Spruill. Craig will not be racing myself soheI will do like he did last year and run around helping where ever needed. Last year we had a decent showing to help set up the course but we need more help this year. What we need now are commitments from everyone. Traffic cones will be dropped along with a trailer full of hay bails at 9am, Friday the 24th. The more people helping set up the course the less wear it will be on each person. We need to set up early so we can rest our bodies prior to the crit. With good participation we should be done with the bulk of the course by 11am. Mark had a truck last year that was a huge help with the hay bails. If anyone else has a pickup that would be great also. If you can not be at the course by 9am, we need teammates/spouses or friends to show up around 2pm to help set up the start/finish line and organize our registration/prize area.
