Sunday Ride time change...
Sorry for the late notice, but due to popular demand, tomorrow’s ride will be pushed back to 9:00 am due to cold temperatures.

Day light savings announcements....
This Wednesday will be the last “Wednesday Night World Championship” of 2010 with the time changing November 7. There is traditionally an after ride celebration in the parking lot that follows the last ride…..come on out for the ride and see what happens. Do not fear! The Wednesday Worlds will be back when the time changes back in the Spring. Weekend rides will continue to begin...

Fwd: Help for CTC Crit
Team, The weather looks like it will be perfect for our criteriums. If you have not registered yet, please register. Race day will cost $10 more. We just got back from the course and the big registration tent is being set up by Ainsworth Trucking and the course has two individuals with industrial blowers cleaning the entire course. 200 cones will be delivered at Whataburger Field at 9am tomorrow...

Fellow Cyclists, Due to the loss of daylight the ride times for the Tuesday and Wednesday night rides have been moved to 5:30 pm beginning tomorrow!!! (Lamar Park Shopping Center) Also the start times for the weekend rides times are now 7:30 am from Lamar Parking Shopping Center and the Robstown ride on Saturday that leaves from the old HEB at Everhart and Sarratoga (Jack-in-the-Box).

Ride your 100 miles here! Join us for the Corpus Christi edition of the Wichita Falls HHH ride this Saturday Morning starting at 6am from Lamar. State TTT Results
Gold for the Corpus Girls in Cat 4, Silver for Peter Staneland’s team in Men’s Cat 3 (54:07 for 40km). Dolores won silver in her age group and Peter picked up a bronze in Men’s 50-54. Congrats all!

A Saturday ride will leave from the old HEB parking lot (jack-in-the- box) on Saratoga and Everhart at 7:00 am. (63 miles)…..BEAT THE HEAT on this long ride! Kevin Boyce is on a roll
Kevin Boyce through on some slicks last week for the University Oaks crits in San Antonio where he finished 11th and 13th in the Cat 5 and 35+ 4/5 races.
On Sunday, Memorial Day eve, he took 7th at the Mellow Johnny’s Spring Classic in the Cat 2 35-39 event, this time back on knobbies.

With 10 minutes to go in the crit, he decided to finally make his presence known in the pack. Aaron went to the front and just rolled on the gas. Within a lap, he opened up a gap and never looked back. Two courageous individuals decided to try to bridge up to him on the last lap, but their effort was a little too late for the catch, as Aaron had time to zip up the jersey and throw the salute....
California Race Results
Glenn Mejia races for Team ALS-C3 in Southern California, most recently in the Dana Point Grand Prix where he earned 13th in the cat 5 criterium. He followed that with a 30th place overall finish in the Barrio Logan Grand Prix in downtown San Diego.
Glen continues his advocacy off the bike, making time to talk with other riders and spectators about our cause and involve them in our mission....

Cold Spring!
Team ALS - C3 will be racing in Houston this weekend with our biggest team turnout of the year. As many as 12 riders will participate in events on Saturday and Sunday morning. Stay tuned for results from the scene via Trevor Hadley.

The “Tour de Landfill” Saturday ride is back! This ride starts from the old HEB parking lot (Jack-in-the-Box) at Saratoga and Everhart at 7:30 am on Saturday. It is a bit longer ride that pass 3! landfills and Robstown on its route !!! Nice alternative for those on the southside of town, someone looking to do a different route, or maybe those looking to get in a few extra miles....
